I'm pretty excited to see Saint this Saturday! I've never delved into their music but am open to getting converted into a fan... Also, my friend's band Chase The Sun is opening for them and it'll be great seeing them live again. They've got some new tunes I'm looking forward to hearing. Should be a good time!
I think I've posted about CTS here before, but they're very solid progressive metal/rock. Not a "Christian band" per se but rather "Christians in a band." I think folks here will find much to like.

Is Chase the Sun named after the Supertones song?

It seems the winter is back here. It's cold and it rains amost every day. The northern wind blow hard and make it cold.

It was very painful, but a blue nail looks nice now. I think the blue will grow out the nail in some months.

But you know it won't stay. It is getting too close to summer now for the weather to stay bad for much longer.

I hope the pain isn't too bad anymore.

Ha, not that I'm aware of! I definitely recommend checking them out if you haven't already. They played a few new songs that sounded really killer; I'm especially looking forward to their upcoming EP!
The show was a lot of fun and both bands were really great. There were probably less than 100 people total and only maybe 25 of us were up front, so it was a very intimate show - which I generally prefer.

Did you drive over to a venue in Spokane to see the bands? Super jealous would have loved to have been there!

No, they played at a biker bar right on stateline - only 20 or so minutes from me! I was quite content to not have to venture into Spokane on 04/20 too (weed is legal in WA but not here in ID, so I'm sure things were a lot wackier across the border).

We had Northern Lights in Michigan Friday night. And I forgot about it! Missed it! News said we should be able to see them again Sat night so I stayed up til 11 and didn’t see anything. North of us is downtown so it’s very possible there was light pollution from the city streets. Might try and stay up tonight and look for them again.

Oh bummer! We are too far south to see any of that cool Northern Lights stuff, but some friends from Western Washington got to see some cool colors in the sky.

We were supposed to be able to see them here in Tennessee with the proper setting on your phone. If I have to use my phone to see them, am I really seeing them?

We saw some red and blue glows and a bit of shimmering over here.

A frozen whole-chicken was too large to fit into the Instant Pot last night so I used my Hackzall to cut its legs down haha. It worked great. Nothing like using power tools in the kitchen!

Have you shipped anything via UPS lately? Don't!!! The cost is astronomical! I literally shipped two CDs to Alabama and it cost me $25! They do weigh your packages, but the cost is determined by their measurements of the size of the package regardless of weight. Then, if they do not have a UPS facility or UPS Store in your town, they consider you a hard to get to location and charge additional fees for that. Want a label printed there? It will cost you extra. I thought the US Postal Service was expensive, but this is absolute highway robbery! UPS will go under before I ship anything through them again.

I would buy more CD's from the US if the postage was cheaper, but as you say, it's astronomical. I find it kind of odd that it's cheaper for me to get my CD's from nordic mission, who get their CD's from the US then send them on to me.
Nordic Mission is great.
